Basketball Recap: Sanderson Wins Going Away Against Grandfalls-Royalty

Sanderson's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-31 victory over the Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-41 on January 10th.

Grandfalls-Royalty lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nicky Sanchez, who posted eight points. Aiden Dominguez was another key player, putting up seven points.

Sanderson's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Grandfalls-Royalty, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Sanderson will face off against Buena Vista at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Grandfalls-Royalty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rankin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
