Football Recap: Seneca Beats Mountain Grove for Their Third Straight Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Seneca rose to the challenge on Saturday. They beat the Mountain Grove Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 47-14. Considering the Indians have won eight games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Mountain Grove still got an impressive performance from Aden Estep, who rushed for 38 yards and one TD, and also threw for 61 yards and one touchdown.

The win was the third in a row for Seneca, bringing their record up to 11-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for Mountain Grove, they moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Seneca will challenge St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mountain Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
