Basketball Recap: Homer Takes a Loss

Homer lost against Palmer back in December of 2014 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Homer Mariners took a hard 78-60 fall against the Palmer Moose. The loss leaves the Mariners without a win on the season.

Homer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Palmer, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Homer won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Juneau-Douglas at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Homer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Juneau-Douglas likes a good challenge. As for Palmer, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Soldotna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
