Volleyball Recap: Roseville's Loss Ends 13-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

After flying high against Del Campo on Tuesday, Roseville came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Nevada Union Miners on Thursday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Miners earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Sasha Salfetnikov paced Roseville's offense, picking up 16 kills. Salfetnikov got some help from Alyssa McGinnis and her 20 assists. McGinnis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Roseville's defeat ended a 13-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 19-11. As for Nevada Union, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-15.

Roseville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Twelve Bridges on the 21st. As for Nevada Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Vacaville Christian on the 18th.
