Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alvirne). They blew past the Manchester Memorial Crusaders 8-1 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Alvirne needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Alvirne's win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10-2. As for Manchester Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.
