North Smithfield came into Monday's contest looking for another win against La Salle Academy, but Ty Cotta wouldn't allow it. The Rams blew past the Northmen 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Cotta, who had 13 digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times he's played.
La Salle Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Smithfield between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-17.
