Basketball Recap: Northern Lehigh Takes a Loss

Northern Lehigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lehighton Indians and fell 80-53. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 618th, while the Indians are ranked 239th).

Northern Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Lehighton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jim Thorpe the next time they take the court. Northern Lehigh will host Jim Thorpe at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while Lehighton will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
