Soccer Game Preview: St. John Paul II vs. Port St. Joe + Official Tickets

The St. John Paul II Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. John Paul II will be strutting in after a victory while Port St. Joe will be coming in after a loss.

While St. John Paul II fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They won by a goal and slipped past Jefferson County 2-1. St. John Paul II haven't had any issues with Jefferson County recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Port St. Joe's offense. They fell 2-0 to Marianna on Thursday. Port St. Joe have struggled against Marianna recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

St. John Paul II took their victory against Port St. Joe in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
