River Valley and Yuba City are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Falcons will face off against the Honkers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games River Valley has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

River Valley will face Yuba City after dropping another heartbreaker against Roseville on Thursday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Falcons fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-2. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

River Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Claudia Dudek, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Yuba City nor Twelve Bridges made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Honkers fell just short of the Raging Rhinos by a score of 5-4.

Yuba City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-6-1 record this season. As for River Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

River Valley suffered a grim 11-3 defeat to Yuba City in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
