Basketball Recap: Rawlins County Takes a Loss

After soaring to 60 points the game before, Rawlins County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 63-28 loss at the hands of the Dighton Hornets. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Daniel Cramer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dighton, almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine steals. Cramer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Noah Roemer, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Rawlins County's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Dighton, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Coming up, Rawlins County will head out to challenge Ellis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rawlins County is facing Ellis at the right time seeing as Ellis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Dighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
