Softball Recap: Park View Takes a Loss

Park View extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-3. They lost 23-5 to the Freedom Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 26-9 defeat last Wednesday.

As for Freedom, their record is now 4-7. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season.

For Freedom's part, Isabella Powell was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with six stolen bases and four runs. Grecia Ramos was another key player, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Coming up, Park View is taking a road trip to square off against Lewis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Lancers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Freedom, they will be playing at home against Woodbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
