Basketball Recap: Start Comes Up Short

Start blew Findlay out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Findlay got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 59-57. It was the first time this season that the Spartans let down their fans at home.

Start's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Findlay, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.

Looking ahead, Start will head out to take on Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 55 points in their last nine games. As for Findlay, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Elida at 6:00 p.m.
