Zander South gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Thursday. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
