Weaver skates past Bulkeley with ease

Recap: Weaver Beavers vs. Bulkeley Bulldogs
The Weaver Beavers won the last time they faced the Bulkeley Bulldogs, and things went their way on Monday too. Weaver breezed by Bulkeley on the road to the tune of 77-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Weaver.
Weaver's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nasir Wright led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Fazal Khan was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 17 rebounds and four steals.
Weaver's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bulkeley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weaver will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Achievement First at 6:00 p.m. on December 21st. Achievement First comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Bulkeley, they will head out on the road to face off against University at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
