West Bend East won the last time they faced Resurrection and things went their way on Saturday too. The Suns walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bandits.

Malia Haug paced West Bend East's offense, picking up ten kills. Haug got some help from Lydia Hoier and her 16 assists. Hoier was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

West Bend East's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Resurrection, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

West Bend East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Howards Grove on the 30th. As for Resurrection, they will be taking part in a tournament against Willows Academy at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
