While losing is never fun, Normandy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Lakewood are ranked 110th).

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-5. As for Lakewood, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-1.
