Softball Preview: Sarasota Sailors vs. Palmetto Tigers
After three games on the road, Sarasota is heading back home. They will take on the Palmetto Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams have allowed few runs on average, (Sarasota: 3, Palmetto: 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Lee has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Lee was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI.
Lee wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emily Borresen, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Sarasota has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Palmetto, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
