Basketball Recap: Columbia Adventist Academy Comes Up Short

Columbia Adventist Academy was the 56-44 winner over Portland Adventist Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars on Friday.

Petersen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trygg Patchin, who went 5 for 7 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Columbia Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Portland Adventist Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Columbia Adventist Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-55 win against Upper Columbia Academy on the 25th. Portland Adventist Academy has also already played their next contest, a 49-41 victory against Auburn Adventist on the 25th.
