Baseball Recap: Atlanta Takes a Loss

Atlanta fell victim to Daingerfield and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Daingerfield Tigers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Rabbits' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Daingerfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Atlanta will head out on the road to take on Queen City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlanta's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Queen City's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Daingerfield will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hughes Springs at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
