Basketball Recap: Miyamura Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Khloe Pinto and Aubrey Martin + How To Watch

Miyamura was the 58-50 winner over Navajo Prep when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots received a blow on Monday as they fell 48-30 to the Eagles. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Miyamura's loss came despite strong showings from Aubrey Martin and Khloe Pinto. Martin posted 13 points and three steals, while Pinto earned eight points and six boards.

Navajo Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kameron Dale led the charge by putting up 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Leilani Wood, who had eight points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals.

Miyamura now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Navajo Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Miyamura will be playing at home against Valencia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Navajo Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against Durango at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
