Basketball Game Preview: Delhi Hawks vs. Stone Ridge Christian Knights

The Delhi Hawks will venture away from home to face off against the Stone Ridge Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Delhi didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Waterford, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Stone Ridge Christian entered their tilt with Mariposa County on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Grizzlies 91-51.

Stone Ridge Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Delhi, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Delhi came up short against Stone Ridge Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 75-71. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Stone Ridge Christian's Kassius Salazar, who went 12 of 26 on his way to 35 points and five steals.
