North Summit's defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-1. As for Layton Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

North Summit strolled past Layton Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 59-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Summit since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
