Football Game Preview: Russell Christian Academy Warriors vs. Victory Christian Eagles

Russell Christian Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Victory Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Russell Christian Academy has four straight wins, Victory Christian has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Russell Christian Academy was fully in charge, breezing past Central Holmes Christian 42-14. Considering the Warriors have won six contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bo Morphis had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 150 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 89 yards on only nine carries. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in August.

Meanwhile, Victory Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 68-12 defeat at the hands of Tabernacle.

Victory Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Russell Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Russell Christian Academy against Victory Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 56-22 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
