Football Recap: Oswego Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lockport

Oswego had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-7 win over the Lockport Porters on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly three points.

Memphis Huguley produced another solid performance rushing for 127 yards and one TD while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October.

Oswego has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Lockport, they moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Coming up, Oswego will take on Chicago Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Caravan have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. Lockport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
