Football Recap: Sherburne-Earlville Takes a Loss

Sherburne-Earlville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Birdlebough Firebirds, falling 51-20. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Firebirds from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Sherburne-Earlville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Birdlebough, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sherburne-Earlville will head out to face off against Oswego at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Birdlebough, they will take on Jamesville-DeWitt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
