Soccer Recap: Union Pines Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Union Pines was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Scotland on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee County Yellow Jackets on Friday. While losing is never fun, Union Pines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Lee County are ranked 174th).

Union Pines' goal came courtesy of Andrew Davis, who's now up to two this season.

Union Pines' defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lee County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
