Basketball Recap: Wethersfield Comes Up Short

Wethersfield lost against Abingdon/Avon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wethersfield Flying Geese took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes.

Wethersfield's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Abingdon/Avon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Wethersfield nor Abingdon/Avon have any future games scheduled.
