Clayton won the last time they faced Raton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellowjackets managed a 52-46 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Despite the loss, Raton still got an impressive performance from Lorenzo Anaya, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Chance Walton was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and six steals.

Clayton's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Raton, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Clayton and Raton will both be playing Pecos the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Yellowjackets will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
