Volleyball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta lost against Cooter back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 25-17 in the first set.

Delta started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-14, 25-13.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cooter, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delta is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Gideon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cooter, they will face off against East Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
