Baseball Recap: Hesston's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Hesston was riding high fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Douglass last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Swathers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pratt Greenbacks on Friday. The contest marked the Swathers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Hesston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Burkholder, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Hesston's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3. As for Pratt, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

While Hesston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
