Basketball Recap: Greyhills Academy Takes a Loss

Greyhills Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the El Capitan Eagles and fell 78-33. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 67-23 to them when the teams met back in January of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Shez Barlow, who went 13 of 31 on his way to 33 points for El Capitan. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryant Hammon, who posted five points and 12 assists.

Greyhills Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for El Capitan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-11.

Greyhills Academy has already played their next match, an 87-29 loss against Northland Prep Academy on the 4th. As for El Capitan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-62 defeat against Milford on the 4th.
