Baseball Recap: Flat Rock Comes Up Short

Flat Rock fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Riverview on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 4-3. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 10-1.

Flat Rock now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Riverview, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Coming up, Flat Rock will head out to face off against Plymouth at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Riverview, they will host Monroe at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
