Softball Recap: Boron Gets the Win

Boron lost to Trona back in February of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bobcats walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Tornadoes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

The team relied heavily on Makensie Crowe, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Channing Boyett, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Boron's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boron will venture away from home to face off against Littlerock at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Trona, they will head out to take on Lucerne Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
