Softball Recap: Newton Falls Comes Up Short

Newton Falls lost against Southeast on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Pirates, falling 12-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newton Falls saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hanna Wright, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Newton Falls' record is now 6-9. As for Southeast, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Newton Falls will face off against rival Crestview at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Southeast is set to take on their familiar foe Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
