Football Recap: Alonso Ravens vs. Sickles Gryphons
Alonso won the last time they faced Sickles, and things went their way on Friday too. The Alonso Ravens breezed by the Sickles Gryphons on the road to the tune of 50-10. With the Ravens ahead 34-3 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Joseph Glennon went supernova for Alonso, throwing for 172 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 64 yards on only six carries. Josh Andrews was Glennon's top target, rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Alonso's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Henry Hutcheon was especially locked on to Sickles' QB and sacked him twice.
