Football Game Preview: Waterloo Pirates vs. Marshall Cardinals

Waterloo hasn't had much luck against Marshall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Waterloo will be strutting in after a win while Marshall will be coming in after a loss.

Waterloo took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Deerfield 36-7. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Marshall played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 47-20 defeat at the hands of Poynette.

Waterloo's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
