Football Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Cascade was not quite Manson's equal in the second half on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Trojans. While the Kodiaks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 7-0 in the first quarter.

Manson was led to victory by Amiziah Escalera and Quinn Williams. Escalera rushed for 119 yards and one TD, while Williams picked up 16 receiving yards and one score.

This is the second loss in a row for Cascade and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Manson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Cascade will challenge Tonasket at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manson, they will take on Lake Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
