Football Recap: The Colony Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Colony played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 73-7 defeat at the hands of the Colleyville Heritage Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Panthers are ranked 85th).

Bodey Weaver was a one-man wrecking crew For Colleyville Heritage. as he threw for 224 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 74 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Connor Souphankhaisy did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 75 receiving yards.

The Colony now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Colleyville Heritage, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
