Baseball Recap: Burns Comes Up Short

Burns blew Baker/Powder Valley out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Baker/Powder Valley got their revenge. The Hilanders fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hilanders have suffered since March 28th.

Burns' defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Baker/Powder Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burns will host Enterprise/Joseph at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hilanders will need to watch out since the Savages have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Baker/Powder Valley, they will welcome Pendleton at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
