Baseball Recap: Hodgdon Takes a Loss

Hodgdon and Fort Fairfield squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hodgdon had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Hodgdon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Fort Fairfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Hodgdon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Fairfield, they will square off against Bangor Christian on Saturday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
