Football Game Preview: St. John vs. Ray/Powers Lake

St. John may have come out ahead in their last matchup, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. It's playoff time, and they and Ray/Powers Lake are set to clash on Saturday . Ray/Powers Lake will need to watch out since St. John have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

St. John had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 40-28 win over Richardton-Taylor/Hebron. No one put up better numbers for St. John than junior Adam Jollie, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 201 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Ray/Powers Lake might be getting used to good results now that the squad has nine wins in a row. Last Saturday, they secured a 14-8 W over Towner-Granville-Upham.

Their wins bumped St. John to 8-1 and Ray/Powers Lake to 9-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when St. John and Ray/Powers Lake clash.
