Football Recap: Falcon Falcons vs. Mesa Ridge Grizzlies
Falcon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 40-14 to the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 35-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Bryce Riehl was his usual excellent self, throwing for 286 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing for Mesa Ridge. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevon Salas, who gained 132 total yards and a touchdown.
Falcon's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mesa Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
As of now, neither Falcon nor Mesa Ridge have any future games scheduled.
