Softball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity lost to Portola back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-3. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brynn Sommerfeld, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Portola, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Trinity will square off against Weed at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Portola, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Burney on the 28th.
