On Friday, Jefferson Prep suffered a tough 57-32 loss at the hands of Wickenburg Christian Academy. Jefferson Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wickenburg Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matthew Sheehan out in front who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds. Justen Smith was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Jefferson Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wickenburg Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Jefferson Prep will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Caurus Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Wickenburg Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against American Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
