Corner Canyon took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-0 win over the Bingham Miners. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on 12 straight dating back to last season.

Corner Canyon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Helaman Casuga out in front who threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Briggs, who rushed for 151 yards on only 14 carries.

Corner Canyon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 38-13 loss against West Broward on the 22nd. As for Bingham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 23-13 defeat against Alta on the 21st.
