Bridgeport entered their tilt with Preston on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Bridgeport easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14.

Taylor Randolph paced Bridgeport's offense, picking up seven kills. Randolph got some help from Addison Veigel and her nine assists. Sylvia Devono controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bridgeport's record is now 29-11-5. As for Preston, their loss dropped their record down to 16-27-1.

Coincidentally, Bridgeport and Preston will both be playing Lewis County the next time they take the court. The Knights will host the Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
