Basketball Recap: Polson Comes Up Short

Polson lost against Browning back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Polson Pirates received a blow as they fell 65-47 to the Browning Indians. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Indians are ranked 26th).

This is the second loss in a row for Polson and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Browning, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bigfork the next time they take the court. Browning will host Bigfork at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Polson will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
