Springfield Township won the last time they faced Jenkintown and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Drakes with a sharp 59-35 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Jenkintown's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Wai, who posted five points and 16 rebounds. Judah Jackson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Springfield Township's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jenkintown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
