Basketball Recap: Jacorey Stanley Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hamilton

Fayette Ware won the last time they faced Hamilton and things went their way on Friday too. Fayette Ware strolled past Hamilton with points to spare, taking the game 62-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fayette Ware.

Fayette Ware's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JaCorey Stanley, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 16 points and six rebounds. Those 16 points gave Stanley a new career-high. Elijah Lowe was another key player, shooting 46% from the field en route to 14 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Fayette Ware's record is now 2-0. As for Hamilton, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Fayette Ware will challenge West Memphis Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
