Preview: Georgetown G-Men vs. Bethel-Tate Tigers
The Georgetown G-Men will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Bethel-Tate Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Georgetown will be strutting in after a victory while Bethel-Tate will be coming in after a loss.
Last Monday, Georgetown earned a 49-42 win over Blanchester.
Georgetown found their leader in underclassman Gabrielle Ernst, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Emily Bertram was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Bethel-Tate suffered their biggest loss since November 24, 2023 on Monday. They were the victim of a tough 58-35 loss at the hands of Williamsburg. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Bethel-Tate has suffered against Williamsburg since December 12, 2020.
Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bethel-Tate, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Georgetown was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethel-Tate in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 48-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Georgetown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
